Very few people thought the Toronto Raptors would win a game in this series. I didn’t. And I’m still a little bit shocked by how well they played in game three.
Bismack Biyombo looked like Dikembe Mutumbo. He grabbed 26 rebounds. 26. And blocked four shots, including this marvelous swat on Kyrie Irving.
Demar DeRozan dropped an efficient 32. Kyle Lowry, who needed a few in-game moments to reflect on his own ineptitude in game two, did his usual effective things.
They looked like a 56 win team with a real home crowd. Good for them.
They have already out-underperformed the Atlanta Hawks from last year’s Eastern Conference Finals.
Maybe they will steal game four!!!
But, at least for one game, Toronto can say they competed with LeBron’s Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
A successful season for the Raptors.
